We’ve worked with numerous State Departments of Education and Local Education Agencies for over two decades. From Peer Review Requirements to monitoring, data forensics, and more—our experts know the K-12 testing processes inside and out.
Meeting the standard for Peer Review Requirement 2.4 requires independent, third-party monitoring of your K-12 test administrations to ensure all rules and procedures are being properly followed. This can include in-person monitoring, virtual test session monitoring, and more.
Peer Review Standard 2.5 requires proactive exam security measures, dedicated follow-up procedures, and diligent documentation and reporting throughout. Our experts do the work for you—and we do it right. Our broad spectrum of exam security services covers it all, and our results are legally defensible.
A serious test security breach has the potential to impact statewide assessment programs in a myriad of ways. Harm to students, unwanted media attention, damaged credibility, and severe and unexpected costs can impact programs for years. Our experts would rather allocate your resources proactively to prevent cheating, detect it swiftly, and respond appropriately.
When it comes to working with states and other education agencies, we’ve taken on a number of roles. We’ve worked with state vendors, securely processed sensitive K-12 testing data, monitored statewide test administrations, investigated breaches, provided expert testimony in court, built security handbooks, enacted incident response plans, and so much more. No matter what your state or local education agency requires, Caveon can handle it.
Each year, the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) implements rigorous test security protocols as a means of protecting the integrity of statewide assessment results—Since the spring of 2017, the LDOE has partnered with Caveon to place highly-trained Caveon monitors in the most at-risk schools. These monitors provide real-time monitoring feedback via Caveon Core. Caveon Core provides the only real-time view into testing rooms, therefore allowing the LDOE to quickly address concerns. Caveon Core’s flexible format allows the LDOE to collect data on the information that is most important. Additionally, Caveon Core’s ability to accurately quantify the monitoring data allows the LDOE to track all incidents and quickly react to monitoring trends.
