Caveon to Co-Host the 2016 Conference on Test Security
Caveon Test Security is pleased to announce that it will again be the co-host of the 2016 Conference on Test Security (COTS), in partnership with Pearson, ACT, The National Conference of Bar Examiners, the University of Kansas Center for Educational Testing and Evaluation, and the University of Wisconsin Center for Placement Testing.
The conference will be held October 18-20, 2016 at the Marriot Conference Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
COTS is the only conference designed specifically for test security professionals, and offers the unique opportunity for experts across the industry to discuss best practices, standards, and innovations for protecting assessments and ensuring the validity of test results.
As David Foster, Caveon CEO says of the conference, “Test security remains the top priority among testing professionals today. Cheaters and thieves continue to have their way with our tests, undermining our confidence in the scores produced. At COTS, new procedures are introduced and research is presented to make current methods more effective. It is important for every testing program to send at least one individual to COTS each year.”
This year’s conference will feature papers and presentations, talks by industry leaders, as well as new workshop and learning sessions. In addition, there are also a range of sponsorship opportunities available to companies that want to further promote their commitment to test security. Sponsorship benefits include company recognition at the conference, options for promotional marketing materials, as well as post-conference attendee information.
Early registration for the conference ends in just one week, on August 10 th so be sure to register today. Caveon looks forward to seeing you there.
