Mr. Marc J. Weinstein, J.D., Joins Caveon Team to Lead Investigative Division
Caveon is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Marc J. Weinstein, J.D., to the Caveon leadership team. Marc will hold a dual role at Caveon, serving as Vice President of the test security company’s newest department, Caveon Investigative Services (CIS), and will also fill the critical role of Chief Privacy Officer.
In his position as Vice President of CIS, Marc leads the department in providing high-stakes testing organizations with consulting and investigative services to assist them in planning and managing responses to test security incidents that threaten the validity of test results.
Marc will also fill a new role within Caveon, Chief Privacy Officer. His responsibilities will include overseeing and implementing Caveon’s privacy policies and practices to protect the privacy and security of confidential and sensitive client and stakeholder data and information, and ensure compliance with all applicable privacy laws and policies.

Marc brings a wealth of expertise to Caveon. He is an experienced professional investigator and trial attorney* who began his career in 1998 as a prosecutor in the Office of the State Attorney for Miami-Dade County, Florida, where he investigated and prosecuted thousands of criminal cases for the State of Florida. Since leaving the Office of the State Attorney in 2002, Marc has represented a wide variety of public and private companies, nonprofit organizations and individuals in white collar criminal investigations and intellectual property matters.
Marc has also directed numerous extensive investigations of significant test security breaches to identify and hold accountable individuals who have cheated on secure tests and others who have aided and abetted cheating. Marc has broad experience conducting all aspects of test security investigations throughout North America, across every sector of testing, including significant experience in high profile investigations in certification examinations, admissions tests and K-12 standardized assessments. Marc is a sought-after subject mater expert in complex investigations and test security issues and has been interviewed and quoted by various national newspapers and television news programs about test security issues as well as other investigations in K-12 school settings.
