SALT LAKE CITY, UT. Caveon is pleased to announce its selection as part of the solution to develop, implement, and administer assessments for the “Partnership for Assessments of Readiness for College and Careers” (PARCC) consortium of states. Caveon will provide test security services to help ensure the tests remain uncompromised, reducing any opportunity for gaining unfair advantage.
“We are excited to be selected along with other top-tier vendors for the PARCC engagement. We are confident that our expertise and our comprehensive test security solutions will support the PARCC initiative, helping keep the exams safe from compromise,” said David Foster, Caveon CEO.
Caveon will be a subcontractor of Pearson, which was selected through a competitive bid process. Other subcontractors include ETS, WestEd, and Measured Progress, all of which are leaders in their areas of expertise.
Caveon Vice President Steve Addicott commented, “At Caveon, we fundamentally believe in quality assessments and trustworthy test results. That’s why this company exists. With that, we fully embrace the chance to help protect these important exams from security threats. We look forward to continuing our great relationship with Pearson, PARCC, and the other subcontractors.”
The PARCC states will begin to administer the tests next academic year.
