Caveon’s Fremer to Participate In First Urban Education Leadership Collaborative

SALT LAKE CITY, UT. Caveon’s John Fremer will be participating in the inaugural Urban Education Leadership Collaborative (UELC) Advisory Board Meeting on Friday, July 26th 2013 at New York Teachers College, Columbia University. The UELC’s mission is to create a program capable of producing highly effective district-level leaders able to design and implement successful educational systems for urban communities.

Dr. Fremer was selected to provide input and expertise to the UELC and to share views on a case study and proposed format for the UELC this Fall.

Dr.  Fremer has 40 years of experience in the field of test publishing and test program development and revision. Fremer has been a frequent presenter and writer on issues related to test development, testing standards, training measurement professionals, communicating about testing to various audiences, developing state and national testing programs, trends in testing, and test security. He has a B.A. from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude, and a Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University.
